| A Case Study about Treatment with Moisture Cream after Vitamin C Ionphoresis on Flush Face |

| ABSTRACT |
|
In this study, total 12 participants who are early 20`s womens in technical college and also had a skin
complaint such as cutaneous erythema and sensitivity. Methodologically, the 12 participants were divided
into group A and B. Group A was clinically treated with moisturizing pack applied on their face after vitamin C
ionophoresis, while group B were treated only with vitamin C ionophoresis. For measurement, potential effects
of vitamin C ionophoresis on erythema were subjectively assessed along with measurement of oil/moisture
content and visual assessment. According to the subjective assessment, this study came to a conclusion that
most of subjects generally showed alleviation in their symptoms of erythema. According to measurement of oil/
moisture content, both group A and B showed higher moisture content after clinical experiment than before, but
didn’t show any significant variation in oil content after experiment. This finding indicated that moisturizing pack
didn’t have any significant effects on oil content, but vitamin C ionophoresis was effective in increasing moisture
content of skin. |
