Be representative of the population in the Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (KNHANES) for this study were used. We were included in the study that depression group are exposed to a of obesityrelated eating habit and lifestyle behaviors of depressed compared with general middle-aged women to understand the importance of stress and depression of the many causes of obesity. This study method included socio-demographic and general characteristics, anthropometry measurements, dietary habits and life style to study the difference between the depressed group and the normal group by t-test and chi-square test. Showed that the depressed group compared to the normal group, feel more stress awareness. There was a statistically significant difference in the depressed group were higher than the normal group according to body mass index and waist circumference in age, waist circumference, body mass index, weight, total cholesterol, triglycerides. Obesity-related dietary habits and life styles of the depressed group and the normal group, there was a difference between the two groups in ‘frequency of snack’, ‘frequency of dining out’, ‘intake a variety of food’, ‘prepare adequate and in hygienic condition’ items. This study was the significance of the study of obesity-related dietary habits and life styles as a method for the prevention of obesity in middle-aged women. |
