| ABSTRACT |
|
This study is the present condition of running school based enterprises and tasks in the future, based on the 'regulations for establishment and management of school based enterprises' which came into effect in March, 2004. School-based enterprise(SBE) is a hands-on educational program in which students create and manage a business in their community. The objective of the field professional education is to train up students with knowledge and technology and to supply them to companies. The school-based enterprise is regarded as one of the most effective alternatives to practice field based education and innovate teaching methods. For the establishment of the SBE program in cosmetology department, the followings would be suggested and reviewed. First, the awareness of the SBE programs should be enhanced by various training and by public information. Second, the SBE programs should be developed by linking with the educational curriculum. Third, in operating of the SBE programs, all of the main professor is required to participate in the SBE programs. Finally, SBE about beauty industry should be developed by service education and customer-satisfaction program.
