The Actual Status of Face Washing in Women in Their 20s and 30s and the Influence of Cleansing Oil upon the Improvement of Their Facial Skin Dryness

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study was to examine the actual status of face washing in women and the influence of cleansing oil upon the improvement of their facial skin dryness, thus providing help to women in the improvement of facial skin dryness. For this, a questionnaire survey of women in their 20s and 30s was carried out. Among respondents, the investigator sampled 8 women and then divided them into a cleansing oil use group (A group) and a cleansing cream & foam use group (B group), thus carrying out experiment. The changes of moisture, fat, elasticity, melanin and erythema were measured. As for the types of the skin, 52 respondents (49.1%) said that they had a moisture-lacking oily skin (complexity). And 49 respondents(46.2%) said that they felt dryness after face washing. As for the cause of facial skin dryness, 48 respondents (45.7%) thought that they did not drink much water. As for the influence of heavy makeup upon skin health, 58 respondents(54.7%) said that it would do, whereas 33 respondents (31.1%) said that it would really do. As for the influence of cleansing oil upon the skin, 53 respondents(50%) said that it would improve skin dryness. As for the experience of cleansing oil, 91 respondents(85.8%) said that they had. As for the moisture and the fat of the skin, A Group showed slow increase and consistency, whereas B Group presented that it increased in the first week, but decreased in the second and third week.
