| ABSTRACT |
|
The skin aging can be divided into two areas: intrinsic aging and photoaging. Intrinsic aging is
due to the passage of the time and photoaging occurs as a result of long-term and repeated exposure
to ultraviolet radiation. Skin changes caused by aging can be reversed by the long-term and
continuous use of functional cosmetics(cosmeceuticals). The cosmetics are one of the elements of the
aesthetic treatments. The aesthetic treatments consist of several elements: disincrustation, massage,
machines, cosmetics, etc. These elements combined together can make a synergy effects. The
long-term and continuous aesthetic treatments can be more effective than just simple application of
the cosmetics. |
