Effects of yoga training and BCAA amino acid intake on physical strength and body shape in middle-aged women

ABSTRACT
The object in this study is to examine the effect of yoga training on exercise physiology by investigation into the effects of yoga training and BCAA amino acid intake on physical strength and body shape in middle-aged women. The study target was the novice yoga members of J city exercise society who volunteered and understood the significance in this research. 16 volunteers divided into 2 groups; 8 for yoga group, 8 for yoga and BCAA intak egroup. The 8 volunteers living in K apartment considered as control group were not taken any actions. We could get following results after the yoga training. In physical strength, a little increase observed in CG group. In YG and YBG group, however, there was a significant difference in the group compared to CG group. No significant difference observed between 3 groups in body shape changes but body shape changes detected in YG and YBG group members. Therefore, yoga positively affects at body shape in middle-aged women. Still, no significant difference found between YG and YBG. In conclusion, yoga training is the fine exercise to maintain physical strength and body shape because it is enjoyable and it affects positively at fitness ability for middle-aged women.
