ABSTRACT |
This study aims to investigate the new social phenomenon of dermatologic conditions, such as atopic dermatitis, in all ages due to increased air pollution, frequent exposures to chemicals and changes in diet from the introduction of western cultures as well as increased stressors in life. We asked 15 subjects with atopic dermatitis and 15 subjects with normal skin to use enough amounts of J&H ato-care Super Barrier Sto-serum with the main ingredients of Phytoncide, Portulaca extract, Hamamelis virgiana, gamma-pliglutamic acid, and ceramide every day on their atopic areas. From September 1 to October 25, 2009, the subjects used the application for 4 weeks and the results were measured and comparatively analyzed with the Courage&Khazaka Gmbh, Germany's MPA5580. The skin moisture level increased from the baseline 25.03 to 58.44 in the atopic group and the moisture evaporation rate decreased from 18.21 to 10.04. This study not only gained more information that can be used to advance the atopic dermatitis treatment (refer to picture) and also proved the improvement of the normal skin when using the tested serum. The results of study have been adjusted considering the extent of the condition and can be utilized in the atopic dermatitis treatment. Also, it can improve the atopic condition and can be utilized in the atopic dermatitis treatment. Also, it can improve the atopic condition in daily lives by applying to skin and may contrubute to encourage the use of the cosmetics that do not harm the human body in the long run.
