| The Effect of Lower extremity Scrub massage on the Hairstylist

| ABSTRACT |
|
In this study we had twenty-two hairstylist in Sokcho take before and after scrub massage for four week to measure and analyse the change in the left calf muscle and right calf muscle of circumference and the differences in the edema, BMI index, pains, and satisfaction in their daily lives. Data were collected from July 20 to August 14, 2009. The results of analysis are as follows; First, compare of scrub massage before work performance in daily lives was increase to left calf muscle and right calf muscle circumference and pain. Also, it was produce good results of statistical significance(p<0.05). Second, compare of scrub massage after work performance in daily lives was decrease to left calf muscle and right calf muscle circumference and edema. Also, it was produce good results of statistical significance(p<0.04). BMI index was not produce good results of statistical significance. Third, compare of before and after scrub massage revealed decrease in pain and increase in satisfaction which is statistically meaningful by p<0.05. We drew a conclusion edema. Also, simple apply of scrub massage and economical cost and efficient to the other job worker of standing position to efficient mediate measure.
